Volunteer Opportunities with the Lake County Museum

Volunteering at the museum is a rewarding experience that allows you to share your skills and enthusiasm while preserving and promoting our region’s unique history.

Whether you have a passion for history, education, or community service, there are numerous ways to contribute.

Volunteer Positions Available:

Collections Assistant:

Catalog, photograph and store museum objects and archives.

Educational Program Assistant:

Support our educational outreach programs.

Research Assistant:

Assist with researching and writing for museum programs, exhibits and public service requests.

 

Event Volunteer:

Assist with the planning and execution of museum events.

Odd Jobs Volunteer:

Something always needs to be done at the museum, from constructing exhibit items to building shelves for the collection and everything in between.
